Testimonials

Client Cameron-I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was working along side her, achieving goals, and developing a passion for physical fitness. I know many days Lina had multiple clients before me, but I always felt like the morning was centered around me. I appreciate her knowledge, and wonderful energy. I certainly would recommend her to any friends or family. I am very thankful to have had the experience.

Client JR Sweeney (69 years old)-I had been a Pinnacle member for two years, but never had the motivation to exercise on my own.  The solution – Hire a personal trainer. In five months, Lina’s training program has helped me gain muscle tone, improve balance, flexibility and become motivated about exercising.  With her assistance and direction, I am now working out on my own twice per week in addition to my biweekly personal training sessions.   She is instructive, motivating, and most of all, patient.  She goes at my speed, but always encouraging me to do more.  I haven’t felt this healthy in 30 years.  Lina is a wonderful personal trainer!!!!

Client Sam-Lina was introduced to me by a friend in January 2011, when we met I weighed 223 pounds, I felt “rusty” and I had difficulties keeping up with my son’s (at the time 5 years old) bursts of energy. My goal was to lose weight, gain agility and of course I wanted to look amazing in a bathing suit as my family prepared to move to the Caribbean that Spring. The program Lina designed for me had a two front approach addressing diet and exercise, two things I needed desperate guidance with. She gave me a list of “preferred foods” she suggested I consume for most of my meals. Surprisingly, she didn’t forbid me to eat anything, instead she told me if I really craved something that I knew was very calorific, I should allow myself a small single serving, therefore avoiding getting fixated and creating frustration. That approach was key for me because the second there were no “forbidden foods” I didn’t really crave anything. The overall simple concept she conveyed was that I had to burn more calories than I would eat, the balance of the two would equal the weigh I would lose, thus an exercise plan.We met 4 times a week to exercise, she planned a mix of cardio, weight training and stability drills, always changing the exercises so I wouldn’t be bored. The first few times we met I wasn’t sure if I was cut out for it, but her constant enthusiasm and assertiveness kept me fired up. She was both “tough” and warm, always attentive to my progress or struggles and no matter what, she kept motivating me, pushing me and encouraging me.By the middle of April I weighed 175 pounds, I had lost 48 pounds in just 4 months and felt absolutely amazing in my body, I am convinced that was the hardest, yet the best thing I’ve done for myself. Terrific investment!
