Group Exercise


We work hard to offer a rich variety of group exercise classes throughout the day. Our class offerings begin the moment our doors open—the crack of dawn, for all you early birds. Then they continue throughout the day and into the early evening. We offer group exercise classes not only in our studio classrooms at both locations but also in our warm-water pool and lap pool at the Fitchburg location.

BodyPump – Fitchburg (Studio 1, Beth)

BodyPump is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. An excellent supplement to cardiovascular training, this 60 minute workout will challenge all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight will inspire you to get the results you came for – and FAST! Space is limited. New participants should arrive early for set-up instructions.

This is a higher intensity 45-minute class with lots of travel and Aqua Zumba Moves.  See how effective the water can be to burn fat and tone your muscles.

Functional TRX – Capitol Square (Group Ex Studio, J.J.)

Get an invigorating workout in our lap pool while wearing a flotation belt. This high energy, non-impact workout will challenge your cardiovascular system and increase your muscular strength and endurance. This is a core workout from start to finish. Challenging Intervals to get you fit.

Ultimate Intervals – Fitchburg (Studio 1, Margaret)

ULTIMATE INTERVALS: Interval or “burst” training is one of the fastest ways to lose fat, preserve muscle and get the most out of your workout time. With Ultimate Intervals, you get it all: 40 minutes of burst training, functional strength exercises and a lengthened cool-down to round out the workout. An array of modifications will be shown so that everyone succeeds. Monday 8:45am class is CARDIO ONLY.

WERQ – Fitchburg (Studio 2, Jenny)

WERQ is the fiercely-fun dance fitness class based on pop, rock and hip-hop music. The signature WERQ warm-up previews the moves used throughout class, while the signature WERQ cool-down incorporates balance and yoga-inspired stretches. Everything in between is pure fun! Are you ready to WERQ?
