Hello and welcome to my personal training page. I can’t wait to help you with your fitness goals! I am a firm believer that small changes can produce big results! Taking workouts and exercises into the water can have lots of benefits. Aquatic training allows for reduced stress on joints while still challenging the body to an effective cardio and strength workout. It is also a safe environment to rehab an injury or work on balance issues.
A little bit about me….I grew up in Canada and have been living in Madison for 25 years. I am married and have 4 children. I have been active in sports for as long as I can remember. In my younger years I participated in cross county, track and field, volleyball and competitive soccer. Most recently, I have completed numerous triathlons and half marathons. My fitness hobbies include strength training, biking, swimming, walking, hiking, yoga, skiing and ice skating.
I have been a member of the Pinnacle Health and Fitness team for over 13 years as a group fitness instructor. I began with teaching cycling classes. Over the years I have become certified in TRX, Mat Pilates, HIIT, Kettlebell, Bootcamp, Senior Instruction and Group Fitness Instruction. Three years ago I made the decision to expand my instruction to the Aquatics Department. I discovered that I LOVE water workouts! I instruct several different formats in the water. I am currently certified in Aqua Barre, Aqua Bootcamp and Aqua HIIT. I am also AEA Arthritis Foundation certified.
