I wasn’t born a fitness guru and my first two degrees didn’t involve biology or anatomy; however if you need someone to challenge your personal fitness while making it enjoyable: heck I can do that no problem! Soccer, baseball, football, basketball and cross-country are just a couple of the sport teams that I’ve been on. If you need directions in these sports I can help prepare your body for these activities. Much of my energy is focused on biking, running, or triathlon events. These are my coaching specialties.
If your reasons for exercise seem to come and go, I can help you define your own fitness mission statement. If you feel get stuck in rut, that’s okay, because I will listen to your goals and work with you to develop an individualized program that focuses on improvement.
When it comes to triathlon, I like to run. Next it’s the bike, then I enjoy swimming. Since the order is swim, bike, run, my events get more exciting and enjoyable as I get closer to the finish. This summer was no different from summers past. I competed in 6 triathlons, one sprint distance, two Olympic distances, two half Ironmans and one full Ironman. Every race was a PR this year.
My biggest accomplishment this past year was commuting throughout the winter, which required studded tires and the proper cold weather gear. This fall I am using my Ironman training fitness to be a pacer in a 50-mile trail run.
Through pushing ourselves to be better than we know: it is there we find our true potential. I simply would welcome the opportunity to help you flourish in your endeavor of choice.
