How do you know when it is time for you to work with a personal trainer?

Its simple ask yourself if…

v     You are where you want to be physically?

v     Your weight is where you want it to be?

v     You are capable of doing all the things you want to?

v     You have had to change the way you do specific movements because of pain or stiffness?

v     You are confident that you can engage in new activities, and master them?

v     Your workout schedule fits easily into your lifestyle?

v     You are just plain bored with your current workout?

Let me help you get the most from each and every workout, to make you feel the best you can be. Fitness should be fun, and fitness should also be functional, so it helps us with our daily lives. Regular exercise keeps our joints mobile, our muscles strong and helps prevent injuries caused by unfamiliar movements. When we sweat it rids toxins from our body which helps our organs function properly. If you have a strong core, everything is easier and you will feel more empowered not only physically but mentally. While looking great is a great side effect of working out, fitness isn’t about vanity, it’s about feeling good. Exercise truly is the fountain of youth, and I am proof of it. I can keep up with my twenty something sons. I wakeboard, golf, ski, and rollerblade because my body is conditioned for activity and I keep myself fit. I just learned to snowboard last year.

My youngest son of twenty-three just finished his first Ironman. It was an amazing accomplishment. While at the finish line, I was astonished by the huge range in ages of all the finishers. The oldest was eighty-two! It is a perfect example that you are never to old to challenge yourself physically, and achieve great things.
